If you're travelling by Coach, you'll be greeted by your ULTIMATE Rotorua Tour Captain - if by Shuttle (Auckland/Hamilton) you'll be met by your Tour Captain on arrival into Rotorua.
After our first activity, we will head to Regal Palms Resort, our accommodation for the week. Once we're checked in, we'll all meet at the on-site Resort Restaurant Matai for a Special Welcome Lunch where you'll get to know your Tour Captain, who will give you more details about the weeks itinerary. You'll also get a chance to meet your fellow travelling companions.
We'll take a small break after lunch so that you can go to your room to unpack and freshen up, as well as get familiar with the resort and it's amenities. Late in the Afternoon, we'll head for Tamaki Maori Village for a very special twilight dinner experience that has never been seen before, making you one of the first visitors to experience it!

DAY TWO (B, L, D)
We'll travel a stones throw up the road to the mighty Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, heading for Te Puia our first experience of the day. Here you'll get to see the wonder of the Amazing Geothermal Valley, Home to the World Famous Põhutu Geyser - where you can either wander at your own leisure or go guided with an expert. You'll also have access to the onsite Kiwi Sanctuary where you can see Kiwi up-close, as well as the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute where you'll be inspired by local artists.
After exploring you can pop over to Pātaka Kai, Te Puias on-site Restaurant where you can take a second to relax and unwind over an amazing lunch by their incredible chefs, before we set off to our next activity.

After lunch we'll be heading to the 3D Trick Art Gallery & Heritage Farm, where you'll get to see a large collection of "Trick Art" in their interactive gallery, as well as head out into their Wildlife Farm to meet some of the furry residents.

DAY THREE (B, SL, D)
This morning we'll begin with a Cultural Experience unlike any other, visiting the very much Living Maori Village at Whakarewarewa. After our Guided Village Tour, you'll be invited to our new Wine-Trail Experience, Tasting at various locations across the Geothermal Park Trail - a once in a lifetime experience.
Make sure you bring your bathers today (if you want to!) because after our Whakarewarewa Tour and Wine-Tasting experience, we'll be heading to Secret Spot, a truly unique and special Hot Tub experience located just outside of Rotorua on the way to Taupo. Here Keith and his amazing team will provide a Special BBQ Lunch for us onsite in their tranquil nature setting. DAY FIVE (B, L, D)
Today is our last Full-Tour Day in Rotorua, and it's a special one with lots of great experiences.
We start of our day by heading to the Rotorua i-Site where we will be met by Rotorua Duck Tours and their WW2 Amphibious "Duck" Buses. From here, you'll have a new Captain for 1.5 hours as your Tour Captain hands over the reigns to your Duck Captain.
You'll be whisked over to Lake Tikitapu for your first "Splash Down", where your bus suddenly becomes a boat... Your expert captain will be guiding you on history and culture during your whole journey, showing you places and experiences you otherwise wouldn't see from land. You'll complete 2 Splash Downs, with the second at Lake Okareka, before heading back into Rotorua for some more City Sightseeing on your tour.
After your tour, you'll be handed back to your Tour Captain, back on the comfort of dry land. We'll pop across the road to the historic Princes Gate Hotel, where their Famous Duke Restaurant will provide us with a top-knotch High Tea Lunch and a little bit of time to sit back and relax.
From High-Tea, we'll jump back on the coach and head into the Mighty Redwood Forest. Seeing these Giant Redwoods from the ground is awe-inspiring - but seeing them from the air, is even better. At the base of the forest floor, you'll meet the team at Redwoods Treewalk, who will take us up their spiralling staircase into the midst of the trees. You'll get to walk on their treewalk experience, admiring the beauty of the precious forest from up top, at your own leisure.
Once you've taken a step up into nature, we'll head for another "up-in-the-air" experience, 487m above sea-level in fact.
Don't worry, you'll like this one. You'll take in the breathtaking views of Rotorua from the Comfort of the Gondola at Skyline Rotorua, as we ascend up Mt Ngongataha to Volcanic Hills Winery, for a superb wine-tasting experience.
The wine tasting is about an hour long, and you'll come away with a free bottle of your favourite wine out of the tasting selection, to enjoy later, or to take home.
While up top of the mountain, we'll head into stratosphere, Skyline Rotoruas fantastic restaurant for our Last Tour Dinner together, where you'll get a chance to chat with your new found tour mates over a wonderful meal, to conclude our day.

Welcome to the last day of our six day experience tour. Start the day with a great breakfast from Matai for a final time, before we all head for Check-out.
Once the Coach is loaded, and check-out is complete, we'll head toward Lake Tarawera and the Buried Village. You'll be guided around the Archeological site of Buried Village by an experienced local guide, who will give you a huge insight into the history or the eruption of yesteryear, and the people who lived there. You'll get to see Dig Sites in person, standing in the place where the eruption had the most impact. You can also tour the history museum onsite, with some interactive displays and experiences.
From here we head for our final activity of the day, a Lake Cruise Lunch aboard Lakeland Queen on Lake Rotorua.
You'll sit and unwind, soaking in the perfect final views of Rotorua from the water over lunch, before we then head back on our return journey home.
